Martians, also known as Ma'aleca'andrans, are an alien species from Mars in the DC Universe. A martian holocaust apparently killed all Green Martians, leaving J'onn J'onzz as the last of his kind; however, it was later revealed that the Green Martians were not all wiped out. There are also other types of Martians, for example: White Martians, Yellow Martians, etc. Their natural abilities include super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, flight, shape-shifting, intangibility and telepathy, and are among the few races that are able to match Kryptonians in terms of raw strength.
