Reality is everything in realm 1, encompassing the universe, multiverse, megaverse, omniverse and hyperverse. Beyond reality is the outerverse.
The fabric of reality is made of 1D quantum strings and foam, which make up indivisible spacetime packets or quanta. The entirety of such a woven fabric is a tapestry that ties everything together into an interconnectedness of quantum entanglement. Every quantum particle has a partner, and every effect has a cause, even a small cause. The resolution of reality is limited to the eyes of a civilization or the tools at their disposal.
Although quantum interactions are random and probabilistic, the tapestry can be affected by causality and determinism, or the combined will of sapient beings. Verses are comprised of tapestries with different levels of infinity.
If the fabric of reality is made of the quantum foam, then the quintessence is a sea of primal, fundamental energy that fuels and provides the fabric of reality. It is is formless and yet holds every form within itself. All matter, all spirit, all elements of reality are composed of this mysterious substance. Quintessence can slip out of physical realms and into the metaphysical, life forces, or even imaginations, and manifest later back into the physical. Like mass-energy equivalence, the tapestry and quintessence are equivalent and indivisible.
Once quintessence congeals into the "threads" out of which the tapestry is woven, the interconnectedness of those threads gives rise to abstractions known as patterns, which are essentially the building blocks of the universe.
Biologically, the three pattern-energy types are body, spirit and mind. Sapient beings have imaginations with enough fidelity to generate models of imagined objects, with brains that work like natural quantum computers. Imagination is comprised of the thoughts of sapient beings, which are created from the mind, body and spirit of such beings, and as such are part of reality. Powerful beings are sometimes able to manifest such thoughts into the physical realm, and thus create an entire new universe.
