The Silurians were a technologically advanced reptilian species native to Earth that pre-dated humanity. The Silurians did not think much of humans, considering them to be mere apes and despising them for destroying the terrestrial environment.
Technology[]
- Advanced genetic capabilities, like bringing species back from extinction. They altered primitive apes to make them breed more often and to improve their flavour when eaten; using these techniques, they ultimately ended up creating the ancestors of humanity.
- Advanced medicine and decontamination, removing diseases and poisons from the body.
- Organic transportation, planes, cars, ships and submarines. Silurian Arks were a type of spaceship designed to ensure the survival of a group of Silurians and several dinosaur specimens from the formation of Earth's moon.
- Cryogenic technology which they used to preserve their civilisation when they believed the Earth was in danger.
- They could use gravity bubbles to travel to and from the surface.
- They could modify the atmosphere, increasing the temperature in certain areas. They once dispersed the Van Allen belt using a molecular disperser, which would have left Earth defenceless against cosmic radiation.

- Special candles could induce lucid dreams, allowing people to communicate across time and space.
