The Zamarons were originally the female members of the race called Maltusians in the DC Universe.
They created the Star Sapphire Corps which is one of the Lantern Corps that draws power from the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum, theirs being "love". They would sometimes empower one woman as Star Sapphire to battle Green Lantern.
They have powers of immortality, Cosmic-Level Energy Manipulation, can accelerate evolution, Genius-Level Intellect and are Master Combatants.
